The Little Mermaid OST- Les Poissons

Classic song from classic Disney. Such infectious culinary enthusiasm, it makes me want to go for some seafood right now.

  3. Well, he has an italian accent, just like in english because in your version though he speaks french the accent is very italian to me :)
And the way he looks : his moustache (same as Dali) and the red bow tie are not very french, don't you think ?

  4. Really? I guess since he says so many French phrases with what sounds closer to French pronunciation, he sounds more French to us Anglophones. And the nasal "haw haw haw" is a common phonetic stereotype of French speakers in Anglophone representation. Anyway, suffice to say he is definitely one or more Latin European stereotypes.

  5. He doesn't pronounce the sound 'u' in 'zut alors' like french do but like italian who pronounce it 'ou'. But this is true that the sound of 'r' is well pronounced like french :). So you are right, let's say that he is a latin chef ! :p

  6. Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, it's not an accurate French accent.
