It's not "smashed" ... it's an assortment of rice, pulses and vegetables. Not all of them are mashed, although in that lighting, they do look a bit like that.
Not all are babies. But I think all are/were orphans or children of orphans. The baby ones are fed by bottle (which is a tourist attraction in itself), although I only saw bathing time.
I like elephants !
ReplyDeleteI like the shape and color.
ReplyDeleteWhat are they holding ?
ReplyDeleteSmashed food ?
ReplyDeleteTheir food/water rations, I guess.
ReplyDeleteNice shot !
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Sohan, you are travelling a lot ! :)

ReplyDeleteWell, I mean you don't need a knife for such food :) Btw, they never propose knives right ?
ReplyDeleteNo, you don't. Everything comes in bite-sized pieces, or as a mush, or as a sauce, or as grains.

ReplyDeleteOne of the tourist attraction is the bottle-feeding of baby elephants, but I was not able to catch that. I only saw one of the bathtime parades.
