Yes i checked your link on 美人心计, looks interesting, the cast are a mix of HK and China leading actors and actresses.. wow now I have a new drama to look out for..
At last check, it was available at a Somerset video store that Kitmeng and I visited on the last day of my Singapore trip this year. You can ask Kitmeng ... I think it was in or near CentrePoint. I would have bought it right then, but for the Chinese-only subtitles. :-(
Empress Dou's story is very interesting ... I'm sure it will be great as long as the producers focus on the history and go easy on the wuxia/pontification/romance/etc.
That is a good wish list,, am interested in 传奇皇帝朱元璋 too. Will let you know if I do come across..
ReplyDeleteHe is played by the same actor as the one who played Wu Di in Han Wu Da Di. Have you finished re-watching that, by the way?
ReplyDeleteHalf way and I switched to TVB.. ;-p
ReplyDeleteMost of the CCTV DVDs sold here in SG (if not all), comes with Chinese sub-titles only..
I'm especially looking forward to getting 美人心計 ... three emperors' reigns in one series is a good bargain, methinks.
