Actually, it did not take so long by UAE standards - traffic authorities here are notorious for being conservative and sometimes whimsical with passing candidates through road tests.
I love driving.. but only those with automatic shift... so yes sohan.. ◕‿◕ but I really sux in directions and parking... I actually knocked down a pole when testing, but that didnt fail me...
Well you know, reading, surfing the Net, staring into space, eyeing the sexy gal etc.
All of which are hazardous to your well-being and that of others if you are the driver. Can't wait for automatic driverless cars, surely they can't be too far off. I just get into the car and tell it my destination and it brings me there without me lifting a finger. Perfect.
Congrats Sohan !! :p
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sohan! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, but luckily you are not driving on the streets of Singapore. Carry on.
congrats. Now I've got a driver when I come visit you in dubai!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and drive safe!
ReplyDeletecongrats!! :))
ReplyDeleteCongrats, and I echo Ur's sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone.

Do you mean lucky for me or lucky for Singaporeans? ^__^
ReplyDeleteI think I should take a refresher course.. I have totally forgotten how to drive manually...
ReplyDeleteDo you mean "manual" as in opposed to automatic shift?
ReplyDeleteMoon, you have a driving license? Wow! Manual too....I refuse to get my driving license as I find driving an extremely stressful ordeal.
ReplyDeleteI don't like driving either, I rather be chauffeured. However I am (albeit reluctantly) going to get my license this year.

Lolx...I find round-abouts and parallel parking a nightmare....
ReplyDeleteDriving is such a hassle. I cannot indulge in some of my favourite activities. I much rather be a passenger.
ReplyDeleteHmm...and what are your "some of your favourite activities"? Purely out of curiosity...
ReplyDeletewahahahaha!

I am waiting for that day too... :)
ReplyDeleteActually once upon a time, our MRT were automatic and driver-less...
ReplyDeleteI believe that the LRT is driver-less...
ReplyDeleteYa, MRT used to be too..
