Well, you are right for the beginning. :) Teuhpu is the reverse of the insult 'pute" > tepu that we pronounce then Teuhpu. In France, most of the young people living in the suburbs (and elsewhere) are reversing the syllables in order to create their own language. Today, this name seems to bother the band. They are clearly explaining it on their website. They write : "L'insulte n'a plus de sens... Ne pas se fier au nom." which means 'The insult doesn't make sense anymore...
