Got a vada pau and no chutney and imli at hand? Astonishingly, ketchup and mustard kind of works.


  1. Vada pau is a seasoned potato croquette that is served in a bun like a burger. When I bought one and realized it did not come with the green chutney and tamarind sauce that is normally spread inside, I remembered the burger comparison, and tried using ketchup and mustard instead. And surprisingly, it was not half bad. Although I may have just been too hungry.
